What are the due dates for GST returns? +

For monthly returns, GSTR-1 is due by the 11th of the following month, and GSTR-3B is due by the 20th. For quarterly returns under QRMP, the due dates are the 13th and 22nd of the month following the quarter.

What happens if GST returns are filed late? +

Late filing of GST returns attracts late fees and interest. The late fee is Rs. 50 per day (Rs. 20 for nil returns) and interest is charged at 18% per annum on the tax amount.
