Sapan Bafna
Chief Executive Officer
Sapan Bafna is the founder and CEO of Outamation. Sapan is responsible for creating innovative solutions for the mortgage and healthcare industry that leverage a combination of data-enabled technology and processing.
He has overseen the development of decision models for the management of defaulted mortgage loans and has architected data entry applications incorporating OCR technology, document generation, and document fulfillment platforms.
Sapan is a Six Sigma Lean Sensei and an Accredited Mortgage Professional specializing in Mortgage Banking. He holds an MBA from Florida International University as well as a master’s degree in finance from the School of Economics, DA University, India.
Devang Kamdar
Chief Technology Officer
Devang has more than 15 years of experience developing successful solutions in the financial and healthcare industries. Before joining Outamation as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), he was a Senior Technology Leader at CoreLogic for over a decade. Devang’s curiosity and quest for knowledge help him to solve complex software and data challenges consistently.
He is an engineering graduate from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science and resides in Miami, Florida.
Lisa Guadagno
Chief People Officer and Board Member
Lisa Guadagno brings 25 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, financial services, and high-growth tech environments. With a robust cross-functional background, she has led diverse global teams across both Fortune 500 companies and private enterprises.
Known for driving innovative yet practical solutions in highly regulated industries, Lisa specializes in optimizing processes through streamlining, automation, and strategic elimination. She has also fueled revenue growth by identifying emerging market opportunities, forging strategic alliances, and enhancing product and service portfolios.
A seasoned leader in transformation, Lisa has spearheaded initiatives that have elevated organizational culture, enhanced talent acquisition, and streamlined operations. Her ability to lead through change is evidenced by her success in managing substantial growth and transformative shifts within organizations. Lisa holds an MBA and a degree in Economics. She also serves on the board for several organizations, where she contributes to financial, investment, and strategic planning committees.
Ravi Patel
Chief Solutions Architect
As a Chief Solutions Architect at Outamation with more than 18 years of experience in application design and development, process automation, machine learning and data science.
He develops and manages new solutions and their implementation throughout the organization to address business challenges and improve customer service.
He ensures recommendations are in compliance with IT best practices and standards. He is responsible to create strategies for leveraging new and upcoming technologies with the existing technology portfolio.
Mortgage and healthcare have been his primary work domains. He is specialized in designing robust application architecture, performance tuning and algorithms.
Ronald Morton
Chief Revenue Officer
Ronald has two decades of experience in the mortgage workflow and technology industry, working with both public and private companies. Before joining Outamation he has grown companies by leveraging the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies that capture markets and customers.
He also brings a deep experience in operational management, six sigma performance excellence optimization, and financial / revenue growth.
Ronald has led organizations of 100+ resources, oversaw $25M+ annual products, and managed $70M+ sales pipelines through periods of intense growth and product diversification. He is an alumni of the University of North Texas, and presently resides in Dallas, Texas.
Jim Moore
Vice President Strategic Alliances
Jim has been in multiple Senior Level roles in both Mortgage Servicing and Business Development. Jim’s background in working with clients allows him to bring a solution-first approach to issues and an understanding of exceeding the client’s expectations in both Service and Quality.
Nirmal Patel
Chief AI Officer
Nirmal Patel is a seasoned technologist with extensive experience leading AI-driven initiatives and fostering innovation across multiple industries. Throughout his career, he has consistently solved complex challenges by leveraging advanced technologies, building scalable data frameworks, and optimizing processes to achieve operational excellence.
With over eight years of expertise in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Nirmal’s leadership is defined by a strategic vision that aligns AI initiatives with organizational goals. By embracing cutting-edge technologies and a human-centric approach, he ensures AI solutions are impactful, secure, and seamlessly integrated into business operations.
Nirmal has held pivotal roles at renowned organizations, including Magic Leap, Blackberry, and Motorola, where he led large teams to deliver innovative technology solutions.

Steve Stein
Board Member
Steve Stein is a mortgage professional with more than 25 years of experience leading sales and operations for some of the nation’s largest public banks and independent firms throughout the financial services industry. Throughout his career, he has effectively overseen origination platforms across consumer direct, retail, wholesale, and correspondent channels. He is well-versed in navigating market dynamics while driving growth and establishing franchise value.
Steve has taken on leadership roles at renowned banking institutions, including Chase, CitiMortgage, Washington Mutual, GMAC, Ditech, and Stearns Lending. During his time at Chase, he played a key part in opening and managing 80 Chase Homeownership Centers that provided assistance to borrowers during the Financial Crisis. Additionally, he spearheaded the Single Point of Contact initiative, which involved supervising more than 6,000 modification agents. Steve has also been involved in acquisitions, sales, and integrations within the mortgage sector, having completed over 10 transactions that contributed to market expansion and financial achievements.
Jocelyn Martin-Leano
Board Member
Jocelyn is an accomplished executive who has led businesses, as President of Rushmore Loan Management, COO of a mortgage insurance company and President of a home equity bank subsidiary. Jocelyn has also served on public company and non-profit Boards and was prior Chair of the National Mortgage Servicing Association.
She founded Enizio Strategies LLC, a consultancy firm that equips leaders with solutions that align strategy, capital, operations, technology advancements, risks, compliance, talent and culture.
Jocelyn has these designations: Director Certification from the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the Directors and Chief Risk Officers (DCRO) Institute’s Qualified Risk Director designation, plus Certificates in Risk Governance and Cyber Risk Governance. She also holds a Certificate in Private Company Governance from the Private Directors Association (PDA).
Jocelyn is an alumna of Harvard Business School (Advanced Management Program/AMP), and has a certificate from MIT Sloan’s program on AI and business strategy. Jocelyn earned her MBA from St Mary’s College and has an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering. She received the Lifetime Achievement Award 2024 from the FiveStar Institute and was named by National Mortgage Professional Magazine as Industry Titan for 2024.
